Components II

Today at Lambda School, we worked on a GitHub card page.

We're starting to call JSON APIs now, in this case github's. I have to admit that installing dependencies for webpages -- using a CDN -- is very convient. Compared to the pain that is C/C++ libraries, and zig at the moment.

The project didn't take me too long to complete, but I feel the same way about all the projects that at Lambda. I've considered trying to "skip a grade", but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Especially since we're going to start learning React in the coming month. I'm pretty good at finding my way around API's, but I'm not sure I can skip a month of Lambda's training.

On the other hand, if there is a possiblity that I can save time on training, I should take it. The longer I'm in Lambda school, the longer I go without making any money. And the more resources Lambda has to spend on me.

Perhaps I should focus on training for personal goals. At the moment it is very easy for my routine to break down at the moment, and then it takes me a while to get back into the groove of things. In fact, I pretty sure that there are more days where I don't follow the routine than days where I do. I should take these "easy" days to get into better habits.
